About the role

Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Security & Platform Compliance Engineer for a Direct Client position based in Plano, TX and Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Google Cloud Platform Security Engineering & Cloud Governance
• 6–9 years of experience implementing cloud security controls and governance frameworks within Google Cloud Platform environments
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform security guardrails including Org Policies, IAM hardening, logging requirements, encryption standards, and secure-by-default onboarding practices
• Terraform Automation, Python & Security Compliance
• Proven experience leveraging Terraform and Python to automate security controls, compliance enforcement, and cloud infrastructure governance
• Skilled in translating regulatory and security requirements into implementable technical standards, baselines, and operational controls
• Audit Readiness, Risk Management & Operational Security
• Experience supporting audit-ready cloud environments through evidence retention, monitoring standards, remediation tracking, and risk exception workflows
• Strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills with ability to partner across security, engineering, compliance, and platform teams to reduce control gaps and onboarding rework
