Google Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

Accelerate Generative AI capabilities by architecting secure, production-ready ecosystems on Google Cloud Platform. Operationalize a Model Armor Recommendation Framework for GenAI governance and implementation. Manage complex global network topologies with a Hub-and-Spoke model and VPC Service Controls. Implement Zero Trust architectural mandates for identity, data security, and compliance. Identify and migrate "Root Level Anomalies" into governed folder structures. Standardize project labeling and utilize Cloud Asset Inventory for drift detection.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure, production-ready ecosystems on Google Cloud Platform to accelerate Generative AI capabilities
• Operationalize a Model Armor Recommendation Framework for GenAI governance and implementation
• Manage complex global network topologies using a Hub-and-Spoke model and VPC Service Controls
• Implement Zero Trust architectural mandates for identity, data security, and compliance
• Identify and migrate "Root Level Anomalies" into governed folder structures
• Standardize project labeling and utilize Cloud Asset Inventory for drift detection
• Translate complex architectural assessments into tangible solutions
• Serve as the ultimate technical arbiter of the "FY26 Google Cloud Platform Mandate"

Requirements

• Expert-level Terraform for provisioning and managing Google Cloud Platform resources
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform AI Stack, including Vertex AI Agent Engine and Agent Development Kit
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Armor, Cloud KMS Autokey, and VPC Service Controls
• Expertise in Confidential VMs for sensitive data processing
• High familiarity with BigQuery, AlloyDB, and Dataplex
• Strong understanding of PCI DSS readiness and CIS Foundations Benchmarks
