Google Cloud Engineer, Senior
About the role
The cloud service broker team is seeking a senior Google Cloud Engineer to leverage their expertise in IaC, scripting, and automation to deliver secure cloud capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
- Implement and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure using Terraform and other automation tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud governance controls and policies
- Ensure compliance with DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II certification requirements
- Optimize and secure cloud workloads on GCP
Requirements
- Secret clearance
- Experience with GCP services and tools
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and best practices
- Proficiency with code management tools like Git or GitLab
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building software solutions for secure government cloud environments
- 3+ years of experience implementing IaC using Terraform
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions in GCP
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
