Goodnation Action Board Member

JOIN THE GOODNATION ACTION BOARD OF DIRECTORS Goodnation Action advances social good by identifying, developing and funding powerful projects and initiatives focused on systemic changes that will strengthen our communities and nation. We are seeking new board members with experience working with high-performing organizations, non-profit or for-profit. Ideal candidates possess skills in relevant areas including policy, lobbying, legal, accounting, 501(c)(4) compliance, marketing, and/or operations, as well as direct giving and fundraising experience. DC presence and/or experience is a plus. In addition, board members will be asked to introduce Goodnation Action’s efforts to their networks. Expected time commitment: Goodnation Action board members are expected to attend quarterly board meetings and participate in advancing Goodnation’s efforts in between meetings, either individually or formally on committees. We estimate this to take approximately 4 - 8 hours per month. Giving to and raising funds for Goodnation Action: We ask that board members give a personally significant annual gift (ranging from $1,000 to $100,000+) and work with the board to raise an equal or greater amount from their networks.
