Responsibilities

  • Maintains high-quality patient care through oversight of quality assurance and improvement processes.
  • Evaluates and optimizes patient outcomes by implementing effective quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for enhancement, develop strategies for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Drives a culture of excellence, safety, and patient-centered care through data analysis, performance metrics tracking, and continuous evaluation.
  • Works collaboratively with both Nursing Informatics and Quality and Safety teams in Golisano Children’s Hospital.
  • Directs the introduction, maintenance, and evaluation of existing and new technology related to digital health tools utilized by Golisano Children’s Hospital.
  • Guides the use of these tools and systems to enhance the safety of direct care.
  • Manages project teams in quality improvement efforts and quality assurance measures.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree required, CNL preferred.
  • Recent acute care experience and familiarity with electronic medical record systems required, Epic preferred.

Qualifications

  • Dynamic role combining Nursing Informatics and Quality and Safety teams in Golisano Children’s Hospital.
  • Flexible individual with strong collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record systems, particularly Epic.

Pay

  • $84,864.00 - $114,566.00

Schedule

  • FT position available (40 hours)
