Golf Shop Shift Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates;
• Address complaints and resolve problems;
• Assist in the management of department members that may include, but are not limited to: Golf Operations staff, Cart Staff, and Building Maintenance;
• Review current day's business levels in all operations and assign priorities as needed;
• Relay pertinent information to key staff including Executive Chef, Beverage Manager, Dining Manager, Executive Offices, Concierge, and Membership Office as needed;
• Assure that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate; assist in developing ongoing training programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hospitality POS system application, hardware, and software;
• Experience in multi-faceted golf or sales operations;
• Cash handling experience, preferably at the management level.
