Golf Shop Attendant

Responsibilities

• Acknowledges guests upon entrance into retail facility.
• Assists the guest by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
• Assists guests by preparing any special orders requested.
• Processes and records sales transactions.
• Maintains accountabilities for all sales and money transactions made.
• Tags and prices items.
• Aids in the receiving and shipping process.
• Aids in rotating stock, keeping displays clean and orderly, and creating appealing displays.
• Aids in ensuring clothing and gift items are in the proper locations.
• Aids with general cleaning of the shop.
• Aids with monthly/quarterly physical inventories.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Frequent standing and using hands, reaching with hands and arms.
• Occasional walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, or crouching.
• Regularly lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
• No special certifications or licenses required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• Ability to read and speak English (may be required).
• Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
