Positions maintain the Town-owned golf course, performing upkeep and maintenance of Town property. Work is primarily manual or semi-skilled, performed under supervision and consistent with the organization’s stated values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf course grounds and facilities
• Operate and maintain equipment such as sand pro bunker rakes, trimmers, dump trucks, tractors, and forklifts
• Perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 75 pounds
• Access work sites in various weather and environmental conditions
• Follow oral and written directions
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old (17 for Worker II and III)
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License preferred (required for Worker III)
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical work, including frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and twisting
• Frequent hand/eye coordination for operating tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Vision, speech, and hearing sufficient for reading, recording, and interpreting information, as well as communicating with employees and citizens
• Ability to work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions, dust, noise, and chemicals

Qualifications

• Golf Maintenance Worker I: No formal education required; ability to safely operate equipment and machinery
• Golf Maintenance Worker II: High School Diploma or GED preferred, supplemented by one year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination
• Golf Maintenance Worker III: High School Diploma or GED preferred, supplemented by two to three years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination; must pass driving record check and criminal background check

Pay

Anticipated hiring range: $15.16/HR – $22.88/HR, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Physical Demands

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 75 pounds
• Frequent full range of body movement, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and twisting
• Frequent hand/eye coordination for operating tools and equipment

Work Environment

• Primarily outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
• Regular exposure to dust, noise, and chemicals
• May require occasional use of personal equipment (e.g., vehicle, cell phone, tools)
