Work Type: Part-time/Seasonal

Nature of Work: This work involves monitoring golf course grounds, the play of golfers, and assisting with the operation of the clubhouse.

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of the rules and play of the game of golf
  • Ability to communicate effectively with workmates and the public
  • Ability to drive a golf cart and operate a two-way radio
  • Ability to understand written and oral instructions
  • Ability to sit from 75 to 100% and stand and walk up to 25% of the work day

Essential Functions

  • Drives a golf cart to patrol the golf course, checks golfers receipts, ensures that the game is played properly and promptly by golfers, and cautions or removes those guilty of rules infractions
  • Picks up trash and litter from the course
  • Affords assistance in the operation of the clubhouse
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates within the scope of this classification
