About the role

TGA is committed to nurturing young athletes by providing engaging sports programs directly in schools and communities. We seek passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Golf Coach for Kids. The role involves teaching the game of golf to children ages 5-14, emphasizing skill development and the joy of playing sports.

Responsibilities

• Teach the game of golf to children ages 5-14
• Emphasize the fundamentals of the sport
• Encourage character development, teamwork, and proper sportsmanship
• Incorporate education and safety into fun, interactive lessons
• Foster a love for golf through engaging activities

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Availability during after-school hours (2:30 PM and later)
• Reliable transportation
• Excitement for teaching kids and sharing the game of golf
• Ability to connect with kids and create a fun, safe environment
• High energy, flexible, punctual, and creative
• Comfortable communicating with children and parents
• Willingness to commit to at least one full season
• Pass a clean background check
