Golf Coach for Kids

About the role

TGA is committed to nurturing young athletes by providing engaging sports programs directly in schools and communities. We seek passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Golf Coach for Kids. This role involves teaching the game of golf to children ages 5-14, emphasizing skill development and the joy of playing sports.

Responsibilities

• Teach the game of golf to children ages 5-14
• Emphasize the importance of character development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Incorporate education and safety into fun, interactive lessons
• Foster a love for golf through engaging activities
• Work part-time, with opportunities ranging from 1 day to 7 days a week
• Offer 2-5 hours of work per day during the school year, and potentially more during the summer months

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Available during after-school hours (2:30 PM and later)
• Reliable transportation
• Excitement for teaching kids and sharing the game of golf
• Ability to connect with kids and create a fun, safe environment
• High energy, flexible, punctual, and creative
• Comfortable communicating with children and parents
• Willingness to commit to at least one full season
• Pass a clean background check
