Golf Cart Attendant | Water's Edge Country Club

Responsibilities

• Bring golf cars from car shelter to car staging area outside Golf Pro Shop.
• Check golf cars for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety considerations.
• Load bags from bag storage room onto golf cars.
• Transport range balls to each end of range and fill appropriate containers.
• Place baskets of golf balls at evenly spaced intervals on range.
• Operate tractor and golf ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
• Wash all range balls daily.
• Remove bags from golf cars and return bags to assigned rack in bag storage room.
• Return golf cars to car shelter; remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc. from golf cars and save reusable items.
• Check cars for damage; wash golf car with pressure cleaner; park car in shelter and connect charger cable.
• Advise Golf Pro Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found.
• Clean all clubs for members and guests; clean and maintain the club’s rental equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of and order in Bag Storage Room.
• Attend staff meetings as appropriate.
• Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Golf Professional staff.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
• Moderate to loud noise level in the work environment.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.

Pay

USD $13.50 - USD $15.00 per hour.
