GOLF CART ATTENDANT

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Attend to golf cart fleet, cart barn and driving range.
• Ensure carts are clean and charged after each use.
• Stage golf carts; includes bringing carts to/from cart barns.
• Return carts to cart barn at the end of the day.
• Maintain clean work area, including upper and lower cart barns.
• Check driving range for organization and pick range balls.
• Wash range balls and stack of pyramids.
• Issuing and checking back in of rental clubs.
• Clean golf clubs for rentals after each use.
• Removal of all trash daily.
• Assisting guests with clubs to and from carts.

Requirements

• Ability to work harmoniously with guests and fellow employees.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions.
• Be familiar with the company’s handbook/Policy.
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules and regulations.
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf.
• Have and maintain a valid drivers’ license.
• Present a positive and professional image.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Able to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Reporting of all cash tips received.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk and stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend and twist at the waist on a regular basis.
• Must be able to reach at, above and below shoulder height.
• Must be able to grasp, push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis.
• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Possess sufficient motor skills to operate carts and other equipment as required.
