Golf Cart Assistant - Seasonal

Description

Foster Golf Links is seeking a seasonal, part-time Golf Cart Assistant to join their team during their busy season. This is an entry-level position responsible for various aspects of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains duties to wash, clean and put golf carts away at the end of each day.
• Provides for clean and safe operation of power carts.
• May assist with closing and securing of the Pro Shop.
• Cleans and vacuums the Pro Shop to ensure a safe work environment.
• May assist in providing customer service to respond to customer inquiries regarding fees, equipment rental, merchandise and related course and pro shop information, in person and on the telephone.
• Rents power carts, clubs, and pull carts to golfers.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• May perform miscellaneous duties as needed.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications:
• (A) Minimum age 18 years old;
• (B) Six-months prior experience in a similar work environment, with some continuing education is preferred;
• (C) Ability to work with minimum supervision;
• (D) Maintains reasonable, predictable and regular attendance during the workweek.

Special Requirements

• Valid Driver's License/I.D.
• Physical Activity/Requirements: Positions in this class typically require: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, mobility, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Pay and Schedule

This position is a seasonal/temporary position and Non-PERS or benefits eligible. This position is limited to no more than 1040 hours in a 12-month period.
