Golf Attendant (Part-Time)

About the role

Works under the general direction of the Golf Facility Manager to provide customer service for patrons of the City of Memphis golf courses. Conducts retail sales transactions for golf greens fees, cart fees, and golf shop merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash, set up driving ranges, and wash golf carts
• Clean the clubhouse, golf shop, snack bar, and outside grounds
• Perform additional functions (essential or otherwise) which may be assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with one year of experience in a related field
• Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• Ability to use general office equipment such as computers and telephones and to conduct financial transactions with customers
• May be required to lift items up to 50 lbs, operate push mowers, and handheld leaf blowers

Working Conditions

Majority of work is performed both indoors and outdoors.

Pay

Hourly rate: $15.30
