Golden Bee - Assistant Manager

About the role
The Golden Bee Assistant Manager assists with day-to-day operations, ensuring the team is trained and guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. You will exemplify the highest standards, leading your team to create unique experiences while upholding The Broadmoor’s Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond standards.
Responsibilities
- Direct and establish daily operational procedures of the restaurant outlet.
- Manage restaurant staff through daily line-ups, ongoing training, maintaining team morale, and effective communication regarding policies and progressive discipline when necessary.
- Schedule team members to ensure correct staffing for service and profitability.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food products, preparation, trends, wine, and beverages while abiding by and enforcing Colorado liquor laws.
- Assist with interviewing and training new hires.
- Support restaurant finances, including budgeting, inventory, and revenue growth.
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including grooming standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to directly supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members, including training, planning, assigning work, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic personality.

Pay
$60,000–$65,000 annual salary.
