GoLang Developer - Secret Clearance Required with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, scalable back-end code. This includes but is not limited to Go REST API development, scripting, SQL database development/maintenance, unit tests and design documentation.
• The preferred candidate has extensive experience with software development and software engineering principles.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Go Development.
• Code and test software based upon software specifications and designs.
• Analyze and study complex system requirements.
• Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain software development.
• Use sound software engineering principles to ensure that developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant.
• Provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process.

  Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of Go development experience
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in design, development, and documentation of REST API endpoints
  • Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
  • Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, or Trello
  • Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills

    Qualities of Exceptional Candidates

    • Experience working in STIG-compliant environments/instances
    • Experience working with Client/Server Certificates, Certificate Authorities, and Client Certificate Authentication
    • Experience with scripting in Linux and Windows environments
    • Experience with encryption and cryptography algorithms
    • Demonstrated aptitude with Go concurrency patterns
    • Experience working with tactical radio APIs

      Salary Range

      The proposed salary range is reflective across all Sherpa 6 locations, years of experience, and skill levels. Salary negotiations will be based on a host of factors including but not limited to your geographic location, prior experience, relevant skills, education, and certifications. Salary Description $115,000-$150,000
