GoLang Developer - Secret Clearance Required with Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable back-end code. This includes but is not limited to Go REST API development, scripting, SQL database development/maintenance, unit tests and design documentation.
- The preferred candidate has extensive experience with software development and software engineering principles.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Go Development.
- Code and test software based upon software specifications and designs.
- Analyze and study complex system requirements.
- Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain software development.
- Use sound software engineering principles to ensure that developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant.
- Provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 3+ years of Go development experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in design, development, and documentation of REST API endpoints
- Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, or Trello
- Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills

Salary Range
The proposed salary range is reflective across all Sherpa 6 locations, years of experience, and skill levels. Salary negotiations will be based on a host of factors including but not limited to your geographic location, prior experience, relevant skills, education, and certifications. Salary Description $120,000-$155,000
