What You’ll Do
- Assist nursing staff with completion of older adult resident activities of daily living
- Bathing, dressing, oral care
- Perform vital signs on older adult residents at beginning of each shift and as directed
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Ensure the safety of our senior residents
- Absorb and motivate senior residents to help keep them active and engaged
Qualifications
- Must hold a current certification and GNA license
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Work well in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience working in a CCRC environment is a plus
- Remain calm and patient when dealing with older adult residents
- Listen attentively is essential
- A willingness to navigate changes in assignments
- Develop relationships and interact with older adult residents to increase their comfort level
- Prior knowledge organizing social activities for older adult residents is a plus
- Current CPR Certification
