About the role
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. In this position, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and execute repairs with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and dock equipment
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues
- Execute repairs while adhering to OSHA and safety standards
- Manage parts inventory and handle vendor communications
- Support maintenance projects
- Document work activities meticulously
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical/trade school training preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Valid driver’s license, forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift certifications
- Strong understanding of building systems operation and safety procedures
- Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance software, MS Word, and email communication
Qualifications
You will need to demonstrate a proactive ownership attitude, excellent communication skills, and meticulous documentation abilities. You should also have a strong understanding of building systems operation and safety procedures, along with proficiency in CMMS and maintenance software, MS Word, and email communication.
