GMP Technician

About the role

The GMP Technician will maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition within a GMP environment, working collaboratively with team members while following verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at-risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments as part of a team
• Complete repetitive tasks and maintain a clean work area
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items and work orders
• Use proper personal protective equipment and maintain a professional appearance
• Understand customer service, reporting systems, and the environment
• Perform sanitization duties to maintain a GMP-controlled environment
• Follow all customer and SBM SOPs and procedures
• Respond to customer requests professionally
• Train in area job functions including walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shutdown cleaning
• Complete daily FN logs accurately
• Train and certify in correct gowning procedures for assigned area
• Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer SOPs
• Complete all safety certifications including chemical safety
• Act as area fill-in during staff shortages

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• Completed all safety and task training certification
• Forklift certification may be required
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals
• Willingness to share knowledge with the team

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to sit, talk, or listen
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds

Schedule

• Sunday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Tuesday–Saturday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Tuesday–Saturday: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Sunday–Thursday: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Sunday–Thursday: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Tuesday–Saturday: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM

Pay

$18.00–$19.00 per hour
