GMP Supervisor

About the role

The GMP Supervisor will coordinate activities within the assigned areas in the GMP program. This includes overseeing employees and temporary staff, ensuring compliance with sanitation, OSHA regulations, and site-specific SOPs. The supervisor will also inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommend training, and issue discipline
• Prepare written reports, such as pass downs and updates
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
• Track equipment and supply inventory, schedule maintenance and repairs, and manage supplies
• Maintain records, including training, inspections, attendance, and metric data
• Correct at-risk behavior and report issues to the manager
• Recommend corrective action for areas needing improvement
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment to maintain safety compliance
• Address employee personnel and customer issues with the manager
• Carry out management responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 1-3 years of experience
• May require a valid driver’s license
