About the role
The GME Institutional Coordinator (Coordinator) is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Medical Education Department. The Coordinator assists the DIO, and the Practice Director of Medical Education in developing and maintaining the compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Aids in the development and maintenance of compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepares reports and presentations, coordinates meetings and functions, maintains office supplies, responds to routine mail correspondence, and handles departmental inquiries.
- Supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, and demonstrates a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
- Assists with the reporting of information to internal and external groups and involved in the planning and execution of GME related events.
Requirements
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Proficiency with computer applications required.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years coordinating an ACGME program or employment teaching hospital setting.
