Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Drug/General Merchandise (GM) Department Manager, where strong merchandising, operational excellence, and customer service come together. As a Drug/GM Department Manager, you will oversee key departments that drive in‑stock performance, inventory accuracy, seasonal execution, and sales. This role offers a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment where your leadership and merchandising expertise make a visible impact every day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Drug and General Merchandise departments with a focus on customer service, merchandising, and in‑stock conditions
• Execute planograms, resets, promotional sets, ad programs, and seasonal transitions accurately and on time
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and backroom areas
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy while minimizing shrink
• Monitor sales trends, movement reports, and seasonal needs to support ordering and merchandising recommendations
• Ensure compliance with company programs, safety standards, and operational procedures
• Support customers with product questions, promotions, and locating merchandise
• Provide daily direction, scheduling, training, and coaching to Drug/GM associates

Qualifications

• Retail or general merchandise operations experience
• Inventory systems and merchandising standards (preferred)

Abilities

• Ability to review sales and inventory data to guide department planning
• Ability to train, coach, and develop associates
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company safety policies and Code of Business Conduct
