The company supplies technology to nearly all major automakers and the global aftermarket under the Garrett brand. This role ensures seamless logistics and planning activities, acting as the point of contact between cross-functional teams and stakeholders to guarantee materials are scheduled, evaluated, and delivered accurately and on time. The position requires agility to cover customer demand, resolve escalations, achieve metrics, improve processes, and drive inventory targets.

Responsibilities

  • Supply Planning:
    • Lead the weekly planning process for a specific suppliers portfolio.
    • Follow up on supplier deliveries (ASN, short shipments, over deliveries, recovery plans).
    • Manage end-to-end supplier planning activities for the full planning horizon, including CTB support for all plants on components planning and execution for assigned suppliers.
    • Create COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) and collaborate with the supply base to recover costs.
    • Maintain planning parameters in alignment with global replenishment rules, plant, and inventory strategies.
    • Drive continuous improvements in the planning process to meet inventory targets.
    • Coordinate with the team to analyze RCCP (Rough-Cut Capacity Planning) short/mid-term on a monthly basis, ensuring supplier capacity aligns with actual shipments.
    • Support Value Engineering (VE) and Reverse Engineering (RE) initiatives, PIPO, transition, and last-time-buy projects with the Supply Base department.
    • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by monitoring new parts schedules and pipelines weekly.
  • Supplier Development:
    • Support supplier logistic development in the region and assist in negotiating and signing logistic protocols with suppliers.
    • Follow and drive actions to improve the Supplier OTTR (On-Time To Request) metric, including OPD (Order Processing and Delivery) approvals/rejections.
    • Support the implementation and deployment of the supplier SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process.
    • Provide input for the supplier scorecard, including weekly updates and follow-ups.
  • Health, Security, and Environment:
    • Perform activities in accordance with experience, knowledge, and work instructions to ensure no person is exposed to accidents or professional illnesses.
    • Immediately inform the manager about any work situation considered a threat to safety and health or any deficiencies in protection systems.
    • Report accidents suffered at work to the manager.
    • Cooperate with the employer and assigned workers to ensure a safe work environment and conditions.
  • GEM Standards and Continuous Improvement:
    • Respect, follow, and support the implementation of all GEM (Garrett Excellence Model) standards, including the 6 Main GEM Elements: 5S, Kaizen, RPS (Robust Process Standardization), Standard Work, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 7 Waste + BIQ (Built-In Quality), and Visual Management.
    • Support and actively use digitization tools and automatic reporting.
    • Participate in continuous process improvement through Kaizen, KE (Kaizen Events), and TKE (Total Kaizen Events/Improvement Ideas).
  • Other Requirements:
    • Respect and follow all internal Garrett procedures relevant to the role.
    • Perform other tasks as needed, aligned with company needs and job responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • University degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with MRP, SAP (MM), or ERP systems.
    • Minimum of 3 years of supply chain experience in supply planning, production planning, or SIOP.
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Strong and effective communicator at multiple organizational levels (verbal and written), with the ability to adapt to the audience while being precise, accurate, and timely.
    • Strong team player capable of working in a matrixed environment.
    • Customer-focused with strong decision-making skills.
    • Accountable for delivering on commitments and meeting targets and deadlines.
    • Organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to cooperate with cross-functional teams.
    • Understands Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan reports and analysis.
    • Works well under pressure.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, LMS, O9, and familiar with processes such as Demand & Supplier Planning, SIOP, MPS, BOM, and MRP.
    • Problem-solving skills with the ability to provide solutions.
    • Results-driven with a clear focus on goals and the creativity to deliver timely solutions.
