About the Role
This role serves as the primary point of contact for all travel, expense, and meetings & events (M&E)-related questions. The specialist will provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding corporate travel policies, booking tools, expense reporting, and reimbursement processes, acting as a key support figure for employees and non-employees alike. The position requires troubleshooting issues and managing cases to ensure a smooth operational flow.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for travel, expense, and M&E questions via Slack, email, and ticketing systems.
- Assist employees with corporate card applications, troubleshooting, limit adjustments, and lost/stolen/fraud card issues.
- Manage the booking and payment process for non-employee travelers, including candidates, consultants, and guest speakers.
- Manage a ticketing system to track and resolve support requests efficiently and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Generate and analyze reports on travel spend, policy compliance, and corporate card usage to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in developing and updating FAQs, training materials, and policy documentation.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and special projects related to M&E travel and expenses.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams on data sharing and accuracy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in travel, expense, finance, or TMC support roles.
- Customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple requests efficiently.
- Understanding of corporate travel policies, T&E management systems (e.g., Workday, AppZen, Concur, Navan), and corporate card programs.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple requests efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
- Attention to detail and ability to enforce policy compliance while maintaining a positive employee experience.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with a team to provide operational support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Slack, ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk), Cvent, Navan, and reporting tools.
