Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and treatment for patients with communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility. You will support rehabilitation, safe discharge planning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders
• Support rehabilitation and safe discharge planning
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Manage dysphagia cases and conduct assessments
• Document in electronic medical records
• Implement restorative programs and Medicare documentation

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Active California SLP licensure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia management and post-acute care
• Proficiency in electronic medical records
• Skills in restorative programs and interdisciplinary planning
