Global Technology Manager, Workshop Services

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with global and regional Workshop Operations to ensure service technologies, repair concepts, and business models are scalable, feasible, and cost-competitive.
  • Identify new opportunities by proposing repairable components and insourcing candidates based on market and customer needs.
  • Partner with workshop and regional leaders to support footprint development and investment planning by aligning technology roadmaps with business execution needs.
  • Develop innovative service concepts and commercial models that create new lifecycle-aligned revenue streams.
  • Act as the bridge between workshop operations, sales, and quality teams to ensure smooth concept development, deployment, and implementation globally.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
  • Practical understanding of pulp industry processes—especially wood handling, pulp drying, and baling.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, operation, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with workshop operations, technology transfer, and training practices.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Collaborate easily across global networks and communicate clearly with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
