AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, ASANA, etc.) that provide real-time visibility into network scaling, deployment progress, and operational health metrics across all NIDD regions.
  • Own and continuously improve data collection processes and tracking mechanisms across the global NIDD organization to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable reporting for leadership.
  • Define, implement, and maintain published SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics frameworks that drive consistent, high-quality delivery of network capacity globally.
  • Identify and drive improvements to operational efficiency through the development of workflows, tooling, and process automation across the global NIDD organization.
  • Create, own, and continuously improve NIDD documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and process guides to drive global standardization.
  • Deliver standardized on-boarding templates and develop new educational and instructional materials with input from key stakeholders.
  • Influence stakeholders by creating compelling data-backed reports, narratives, and process improvement proposals.
  • Support the design and maintenance of technical training content for Network Design and Deployment Engineers to ensure baseline technical proficiency.
  • Serve as a mentor and career development resource for NIDD team members globally, partnering with managers to guide the growth of engineers across regions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of vendor management experience
  • 4+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience
  • 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction or project management experience
  • Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent
  • Experience in construction or project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
