Position: Global Supply/Planner Coordinator [Hybrid ROLE] Location: Sparks, MD Duration: 12+ Months Contract Total Hours/week: 40.00 pay rate: $20-25/hr Client: Medical Device Company Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only) No H1B’s Work days M-F 8:30-5pm, Must be flexible as listed below. Hybrid Role. Average 2 days per week at office. LOCALS ONLY Job Description The position of Global EU MDR Coordinator will serve as the single point of contact for the supply planning processes to ensure optimal service level and coordination with the Regional MDR Coordinators and across the Global Supply Chain Team. This role will work closely with Regulatory, Supply Chain, Operations, and the Regional MDR Coordinators to review and maintain the centralized EUMDR/IVDR transition data for the SCM Planning system. The role will also work with the Supply Chain teams on cutover strategies, identifying risks of shortages and excess inventory, and optimizing supply allocation among regions. Lead and/or participate in monthly meetings with Regional MDR Coordinators to monitor the Production, Supply, and Transport Tables to support the EU IVDR Planning Process and communicate changes to all Plants and Supply Chain Teams who are impacted.Identify EUMDR related master data discrepancies and follow up with regional supply chain to resolve as needed.Work with Supply Planners as needed to monitor inventory and orders to ensure smoother EUMDR transition Production Supply Compliance Table Identify SKUs and plants in transition of MDD/MDRCoordinate with Regulatory and Global Planning the transition data readiness for every S&OP cycleValidate the Planning dashboard is updated on a monthly basis with the MDR cutover dates / dual manufacturing strategy confirmation (quality check)Centralize the updates on the Planning dashboard in case of modifications requested in the Monthly Business ReviewMonitor for changes and/or creation of Production Supply Compliance table from the Planning DashboardMass Upload Production Supply Compliance table in SAP SCMOEM Supply Compliance TableIdentify SKUs and OEMs in transition of MDD/MDRCoordinate with Regulatory and Global Planning the transition data readiness for every S&OP cycleCoordinate with Reg. MDR Coordinator to gather missing information for Regional OEMsValidate the Planning dashboard is updated on a monthly basis with the MDR cutover dates / dual procurement strategy (quality check)Support Regional MDR Coordinator in the creation of the consolidated OEM & Transport Compliance template Experience Position requirements 1-2 year experience utilizing integrated MRP and ERP systems preferredExperience working in a global matrix organization with multiple locations preferred Competencies Basic knowledge of integrated Supply Chain systems (i.e., SAP ECC, APO).Highly developed planning, time management, interpersonal and verbal, electronic, and written communication skills.Customer centric focus and global orientation.Experience working within a complex virtual team environment and executing project activities.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office required with strong Excel skillsPower BI Experience a plusMust have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform spreadsheet and database maintenance Education Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, preferredAPICS certification (or equivalent) preferredMay be working outside of normal business hours for meetings
