Global Supply Planner
Responsibilities
- Oversee seasonal item setup within planning systems, including the creation and maintenance of planning inputs and routing data needed for execution.
- Drive monthly and seasonal purchasing cycles for assigned product lines, translating demand signals into timely buy decisions across global regions.
- Monitor purchase order progress from creation through confirmation, following up on committed receipt dates to help maintain reliable delivery performance.
- Prepare and manage quarterly production reporting, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into supply status, risks, and output trends.
- Coverage of vendor and factory training related to operational processes, providing guidance that supports accurate execution and compliance.
- Partner with regional planning, logistics, licensed business teams, and category contacts to address schedule changes, delivery updates, and supply gaps.
- Maintain purchase order records and perform ongoing system administration tasks to support accurate order management and planning data integrity.
- Communicate projected shortages, program timing updates, and rescheduled shipments to relevant partners so corrective actions can be taken promptly.
- Create ad hoc analyses and operational reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI to support supply planning decisions and leadership requests.
Requirements
- Experience in supply planning, purchasing, operations, or a related analytical function within a global business environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to produce clear operational reports and data-driven insights.
- Strong understanding of purchase order management, vendor coordination, and delivery tracking processes.
- Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including logistics, planning, sourcing, and category management.
- Skilled in communicating timelines, risks, and changes to stakeholders in a clear and precise manner.
- Experience supporting reporting, production tracking, or ad hoc analysis in a fast-moving operational setting.
- Comfortable providing training or process support to external partners such as vendors or factories.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining data accuracy and on-time execution.
