Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate global suppliers; negotiate and execute contracts with strategic partners to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices
- Drive total cost optimization (base cost, tariffs, transportation, quality, lead time) in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze market trends, lead times, and material risks to ensure build readiness and minimize production disruptions through appropriate risk-buy strategies
- Develop and execute an international logistics strategy—including routing guides, shipping mode selection, and customs clearance processes
- Build tools and processes to provide visibility into sourcing, material readiness, cost impact, cost reduction opportunities, risk analysis, and supplier performance
- Track and report on KPIs including cost, delivery times, inventory turnover, and supplier performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, NPI, operations, and leadership to align supply chain strategy with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, logistics, business, or a related field (Master's preferred); experience sourcing electrical power products is a strong plus
- 3+ years of combined experience in supply chain, program management, or engineering, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Background in new technology or NPI-stage supply chain, ideally in a startup environment
- Experience working with electrical systems, power electronics, or similar hardware in a manufacturing or production context
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills—written, verbal, and visual
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects across organizational lines
- Ability to prioritize effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to change
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, including internationally
