About the role
Peak Energy is looking for a Global Supply Chain Management Intern – ESS to support the sourcing and management of our ESS direct materials. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how to build a supply chain from the ground up and to make a meaningful impact on domestic clean tech manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of supply chain strategies for ESS components
- Conduct supplier research and help draft RFIs/RFQs for critical components
- Support supplier onboarding, including vetting, qualification, and data management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to support NPI & Pilot builds
- Aid in logistics planning and cost optimization for international and domestic shipments
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; proficient in Excel and/or data analysis tools
- Interest in clean tech, energy storage, and/or domestic manufacturing policy
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Self-starter with a willingness to dive into ambiguity and solve problems
- Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, operations, or procurement is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
