About the role

As a Global Supply Chain Intern, you’ll spend 11 weeks working alongside talented colleagues and inspirational leaders, gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic pharmaceutical organization, contributing to meaningful projects that help enable delivery of innovative products to patients worldwide. Interns may be assigned to one of several supply chain functional areas based on business needs, academic background, and skills, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Brand Management, Logistics and Distribution/Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Data & Analytics, Patient Access Operations, and Process Improvement and Operational Excellence. The program includes mentorship, networking, leadership engagement, and intern‑focused programming to develop technical, analytical, and leadership skills. AbbVie strongly considers high‑performing interns for full‑time roles after graduation. The internship is based in Lake County, IL.
Responsibilities
- Analyze supply, demand, inventory, logistics, and operational data
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and operational performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to develop solutions
- Prepare project updates as assigned and present recommendations to business stakeholders
