Global Strategic Sourcing Manager (Supply Chain & Procurement)

Temporary full-time role based in Sunnyvale, CA (hybrid – 3 days onsite) with an estimated duration of 10 months. Hourly rate: $68.08.

About the role

As the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will drive strategic procurement initiatives within the contact-center commodity space, leveraging deep industry insights and cross-functional collaboration to optimize supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop a nuanced understanding of the contact-center commodity landscape; identify shifts in buyer and supplier power and use industry dynamics to the client’s advantage.
• Perform supplier financial research, spend analysis, and ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic procurement deals.
• Negotiate optimal terms with suppliers, covering direct labor, indirect labor, overhead, and SG&A breakdowns.
• Collaborate across the client organization to align sourcing strategies with business objectives, rapidly synthesizing and communicating findings to leadership.
• Proactively identify potential supply issues that could impact strategy.
• Optimize supply chain performance through cost and capacity scenario analysis and benchmarking.
• Provide program management support, including developing processes, templates, escalation procedures, and reporting.
• Take end-to-end ownership of contract negotiations for both commercial and legal aspects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• Proven tenacity, passion, and demonstrated skill in negotiations.
• Experience in supplier management and operations.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build, grow, and develop key cross-functional relationships to influence and drive projects.
• Ability to operate independently and solve complex supply chain issues.
