Global Strategic Events Assistant Director
About the role
The EY Global Strategic Events and Experiences team is a dynamic group dedicated to creating impactful and memorable experiences for clients, stakeholders, and employees. This team specializes in designing and executing high-profile events that align with EY's strategic objectives and enhance brand visibility.
Responsibilities
- Designs and delivers the brand experience for clients attending EY Events and externally projects the best of the EY brand.
- Works in a high-paced, agile environment, managing multiple stakeholders, time zones, and priorities effectively.
- Mentors junior personnel on the strategic events and experiences team to ensure consistent and leading-edge brand experience.
- Manages and drives forward the design and delivery of event-related technology, including complex and detailed registration sites and event apps.
- Works closely with Legal, Procurement, and Independence to ensure compliance for all events.
- Seeks connections across all of BMC to bring the best of EY to life, including sector, service lines, regions, and other BMC programs such as World Entrepreneur of the Year, International Tax Conference, Young Tax Professional of the Year, as well as industry/third party, sponsorship events.
- Provides onsite support to manage various external vendors and agencies to ensure consistent delivery for their own events and supporting their colleagues.
Requirements
- Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex event projects at a global level.
- Considerable experience of delivering brand, marketing, and communications projects in global organizations.
- Experience managing diverse teams.
- Outstanding communication skills.
Qualifications
- High level of influencing and networking skills.
- Experience of delivering multiple events on a global basis.
- Experience of leading under pressure.
- Ability and willingness to be able to travel.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $180,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $180,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
We expect most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
