About the role

The Global Sourcing Manager will oversee the procurement of technology purchases such as Software, Software as a Service, and Infrastructure on both a regional and global scale. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sourcing strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders on technology requirements, IT, security, and legal matters, and managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the IT industry and its strategic direction
  • Work effectively cross-functionally with IT, business stakeholders, Legal, Security and Privacy
  • Manage supplier relationships, including deadlines, lead times, and contracts
  • Proactively manage annual renewal processes and deadlines
  • Adhere to corporate purchasing and accounting policies and procedures
  • Negotiate competitive pricing and terms
  • Develop and maintain benchmark data for strategic decision-making
  • Utilize the Sourcing Process to manage sourcing packages and establish a capable supply base

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in purchasing
  • Understanding of Legal and Commercial Terms and Conditions
  • Project management skills
  • Basic software concepts
  • Independent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Analytical skills, including benchmarking
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with business partners
  • Knowledge of computer software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Research)
  • SAP experience or willingness to learn purchasing systems
  • Willingness to travel 5% domestically and internationally

Skills & Abilities (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with IT, Technology, or Software

Pay

The salary range for this role is $95,200 - $126,500. The actual base salary will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
