About the role
The Global Sourcing Manager will oversee the procurement of technology solutions such as software, SaaS, and infrastructure on both a regional and global scale. Key responsibilities include aligning with IT, business stakeholders, legal, security, and privacy teams to define technology needs, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Understand the IT landscape and contribute to strategic planning
- Work collaboratively across departments to identify and secure technology solutions
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of technology
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
- Develop and maintain a competitive supply base
- Adhere to purchasing policies and procedures
- Utilize sourcing processes to manage sourcing packages
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant purchasing experience
- Experience with legal and commercial terms
- Project management skills
- Basic software concepts
- Independent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Analytical skills for benchmarking
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- SAP experience or willingness to learn
Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with IT, technology, or software
- Willingness to travel up to 5%
Pay
The salary range for this role is $95,200 - $126,500. The actual base salary will vary based on factors including job level and individual performance.
