About the role
The Global Solution Consulting (GSC) team collaborates with various Finastra teams (sales, marketing, product management, professional services, and customer support) to secure business wins in the Payments market. This role requires a high-energy individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, capable of driving business opportunities through exceptional thought leadership and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Navigate the customer journey with exceptional thought leadership and hands-on product expertise in the Payments sector.
- Support Finastra’s sales force by providing strategic guidance and technical insights.
- Engage with sales teams, customers, partners, and prospects to identify and pursue business opportunities.
- Develop and present compelling sales strategies, including cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Banking or Financial Technology experience, preferably in Payments product management, operations, or solution consultancy/presales.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
- Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing uncertainty and adapting to dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project).
- Experience with Salesforce.com and web-based applications.
- 4-8 years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in the financial industry, specifically in Payments.
- Understanding and/or hands-on experience with software development and web technologies.
- Proven track record of accomplishments and initiatives, demonstrating measurable success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent Payments-related experience.
