Responsibilities
- Alarm Monitoring: Operators monitor all physical security equipment on a global basis to ensure the physical security of all employees, contingents, and office spaces.
- Access Management: Operators manage day-to-day access to all company facilities, ensuring compliance with customer, auditorial, and company policy.
- CCTV System: Operators manage the company's CCTV system and process video footage requests.
- Provide access management to all company facilities.
- Conduct alarm monitoring for Open Text facilities.
- Manage all video footage requests in accordance with company policy.
- Manage all access report requests in accordance with company policy.
- Notify the appropriate personnel in an emergency.
- Notify, direct, and assist emergency personnel in the event of an emergency.
- Liaison between clients, other departments, and company leadership during an emergency.
- Directing visitors to the appropriate areas.
- Monitor and control removal of company and personal property.
- Report all building utility/service issues as observed and instructed to facilities.
- Manage the day-to-day requirements for the Company's Anti-tailgating program.
- Evaluate and recommend improved procedural safety/security protocols or processes.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills and ability to expertly prepare reports.
- High level of competency with advanced computer systems (e.g., hardware, software, and networks).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication skills with IT and Security Systems professionals.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and willingness to assist the team when needed.
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to compile, sort, and interpret data.

Full Time available at a Corporate site on Bloomfield CT Thursday - Monday 11pm - 7am $22/ hour
