Global Program Management Director, Commercial Equipment
General Responsibilities
Directs all phases of client programs, from inception through completion.
Responsible for the cost, implementation and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
Coordinates the preparation of business plans, work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Ensures the development process is congruent with current market trends, program goals, and client needs.
Acts as the primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and performance.
Analyzes problem/opportunity areas of assigned programs and evaluates options.
Evaluates performance and makes recommendations.
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to program plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
Determines the profitability and viability of new products or program enhancements.
Develops strategies and tactics to ensure effective program performance relative to market opportunity, working closely with company functional groups over the entire life cycle.
Directs and oversees responsibilities of team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met.
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards.
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
Other Requirements
Proven capability to bring together, lead, and develop high-performing teams across multiple cultures and regions, while modeling the way through strong ownership, transparency, and accountability.
Experience leading numerous and/or complex programs within a high-mix/low-volume portfolio, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Strong track record of working cross-functionally and operating effectively across multiple time zones.
Willingness to travel regularly to be on site with teams and customers to build relationships and accelerate execution.
Pay
Base Salary Range: $197,360.00 - $271,370.00
