Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze Voice of the Customer information for determining new products or features that should be added to our product offering
- Manage internal processes for creating and maintaining product and part level information in the company’s ERP system
- Work with sales and marketing to establish and maintain pricing to achieve company goals. Input pricing to company systems and publish to our channel partners.
- Understand and clearly communicate the Zimmatic product’s technical and commercial requirements and features to stakeholders including channel partners
- Guide and inspire the product development team who is responsible for building new products and maintaining current products
- Develop and maintain 3-5 year product roadmaps for the assigned product lines
- Develop and communicate business cases for future development projects
- Collaborate with other stakeholders such as marketing, sales and channel partners on the creation of positioning and collateral to support market penetration and sales growth
Requirements
This is a full-time role that follows a hybrid model in which our core “in-office days” are Monday - Thursday. There are travel expectations for this role – to include local and some international travel, up to 25% in a month.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a technical degree, advanced degrees in marketing or business administration a bonus
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Ability to work successfully with diverse groups of stakeholders
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to establish prioritization
- 2+ years of irrigation industry experience preferred
- 2+ years of technical design or sales preferred
- Experience with collaborative project management techniques to align the organization
