Global Process Owner - Opportunity to Order
Key Responsibilities
- Own the global blueprint for the OTO process, including L2, L3, and L4 process maps spanning Create Opportunity, Create Quote, and PO Validation process groups — ensuring designs are fit-for-purpose across ETO and CTO business models.
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Project Management to define roles, responsibilities, and handoffs (RACI) across the full OTO lifecycle.
- Identify pain points, reduce lead times, and drive measurable improvements in process efficiency, data quality, and customer experience — targeting reductions in quote cycle time and improvements in order conversion rates.
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids governing the OTO process, with clear focus on system-specific execution steps, data origins, and critical handoff points.
- Career Realization: Define and track OTO KPIs including quote cycle time, win rate, order accuracy, and opportunity-to-order conversion metrics — demonstrating measurable business value against approved targets.
- Serve as the primary interface between the TEO organization and business execution teams for the OTO value stream, building trust and alignment with stakeholders from executive sponsors to frontline operators.
- Support integration with adjacent value stream leads (OTC, NPDI, S2P, SIOP) to ensure cross-stream consistency, shared data standards, and aligned process handoffs across the enterprise.
