Global Process Analyst
Position Summary
The Global Process Supervisor is responsible for bridging operations and technology across a global transportation and logistics network. This role serves as the primary liaison between operational teams, technology developers, business analysts, and customer-facing stakeholders to ensure business processes, systems, and reporting tools effectively support operational execution. The Global Process Supervisor identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, standardize workflows, enhance technology adoption, and drive continuous process improvement across transportation, dispatch, control tower, warehouse, and customer support functions. The position combines operational expertise with technical acumen to deliver scalable solutions that improve service quality, visibility, compliance, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Develop, document, and maintain global standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process workflows.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Monitor process performance through KPIs and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure global process consistency while supporting regional operational requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between operational teams and technology organizations.
- Gather business requirements from transportation, dispatch, customer service, control tower, and logistics stakeholders.
- Translate operational needs into functional requirements for system enhancements and technology solutions.
- Support operational readiness for new customers, products, markets, and services.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve process gaps and system-related challenges.
- Participate in the design, testing, implementation, and deployment of transportation, visibility, automation, and reporting tools.
- Support implementation of TMS, WMS, CRM, route optimization, tracking, and business intelligence platforms.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities for new system functionality.
- Champion technology adoption and provide ongoing support, communication, and training to operational teams.
- Monitor technology performance and recommend enhancements to improve operational outcomes.
- Develop operational dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable business insights.
- Analyze trends related to service performance, productivity, transportation costs, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Business Intelligence teams to create metrics that drive accountability and performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to operational leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in transportation operations, control tower management, or time‑critical logistics environments.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Advanced communication skills, including executive and customer‑facing situations.
- Experience supporting or implementing operational technology platforms.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
Technology & Systems
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), CRM platforms, business intelligence tools, and workflow automation solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and Office 365 applications.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid or on‑site work depending on operational needs.
- Occasional travel for customer meetings, network locations, or major incident reviews.
Pay
The base pay for this position ranges from $75,660.00/year to $123,000.00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
