About the role

Cloudflare is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking, and high-energy Global Payment Operations Lead to revolutionize our Global Accounts Payable landscape. Based in Austin, TX, this high-visibility role places you at the helm of global cash movement, directly impacting how our financial infrastructure scales with our hyper-growth. You will architect the payment lifecycle, deploy cutting-edge payment systems, and pioneer new global payment methods. This transformative leadership opportunity involves tackling cross-border banking challenges, resolving complex payment rejections with international partners, and serving as a strategic partner to Treasury and Supplier Enablement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute all high-volume weekly and ad-hoc corporate payment runs for Global Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy, velocity, and strict compliance with global internal controls.
• Spearhead the implementation, testing, and launch of next-generation corporate payment systems and innovative global payment methods to scale financial infrastructure and streamline multi-currency delivery.
• Collaborate with international banking partners to proactively investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex payment rejection reasons, eliminating operational bottlenecks.
• Partner with the corporate Treasury team to manage daily funding requirements and drive robust quarterly free cash flow forecasts and actuals analyses.
• Collaborate with Supplier Enablement teams to mandate and execute precise updates to vendor banking master data, maximizing straight-through processing rates and preventing transactional risk.
• Leverage and optimize foundational financial architecture—including Oracle Fusion, Kyriba, and direct bank APIs—to automate, refine, and secure end-to-end payment workflows.

Requirements

• Vast professional experience executing complex corporate payments internationally across global jurisdictions, with expert command over regional payment rails, methods, and banking requirements.
• Proven, hands-on administrative proficiency with tier-one treasury and ERP solutions, including Oracle Fusion, Kyriba, and direct bank APIs.
• 5+ years of progressive professional experience in international corporate accounts payable, global treasury operations, or high-capacity transactional finance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, International Business, or a closely related field.
• Exceptional analytical capability, world-class problem-solving skills, and confident, articulate communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Skills

• Direct operational experience with major global payment processors or financial technology platforms (e.g., PayPal, Adyen, Stripe) is a significant advantage.
