Global Operations Intern – Breakthrough
About the role
We are seeking a Sustainability Solutions Intern for our Summer 2027 Internship Program. This intern will support our Breakthrough division and leverage analytical and research skills toward decarbonizing transportation. The role will work closely with Breakthrough team members and sustainability clients to deliver insights on existing client engagements and support the long-term product roadmap.
The U.S. Venture Internship Program runs May–August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Breakthrough Office in Green Bay, WI.
Responsibilities
- Develop understanding of common emissions accounting and reporting frameworks (e.g., GLEC) and their role in Breakthrough sustainability solutions.
- Build working knowledge of the Breakthrough sustainability solutions and technology platform that supports them.
- Research specific use cases and their applicability toward existing emissions accounting and reporting frameworks and/or current Breakthrough solutions.
- Process client transportation data and format for use within Breakthrough’s sustainability platform.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- Working toward a degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Sustainability, or Environmental Sciences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with common business applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
