About the role
This role will drive strategic priorities, executive-level problem solving, and cross-functional execution on initiatives that matter most to the business. You will partner with senior leaders and teams across the organization to clarify priorities, coordinate complex work, and turn strategic decisions into measurable action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen operating cadence, decision quality, and enterprise execution within a life sciences environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Access, and Corporate Communications to align medical plans with portfolio objectives
- Support launch planning with cross-functional medical affairs and commercial teams
- Provide medical expertise to clinical development teams for trial design and recruitment
- Develop integrated medical evidence plans for early pipeline assets
- Lead medical communications strategy in publications and KOL engagement
- Engage with external thought leaders and medical organizations to bolster scientific credibility
- Mentor and develop medical staff within a matrixed environment
- Utilize AI for optimizing program and portfolio performance
Qualifications
- MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD (or equivalent scientific or medical training)
- 5-7 years in medical affairs in oncology pharmaceutical/biotech; radiopharmaceutical experience preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead medical objectives
- Experience in developing and executing global medical strategies
- Strong communication skills for influencing senior leadership and scientific audiences
- Analytical mindset with strategic thinking and business acumen
Pay
$210,572 – $255,164 annually
