Global Manufacturing Operations Director

Responsibilities
Develop and execute global operational strategies that align with business goals and support sustainable growth
Lead daily operations across multiple regions, ensuring consistent performance, efficiency, and operational excellence
Champion continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization frameworks
Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
Partner closely with leaders in Sales, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and other functions to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives
Oversee global supply chain and logistics strategy to optimize cost, service levels, and delivery performance
Ensure compliance with international regulatory, safety, and quality standards
Lead, develop, and support a high-performing global operations team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous development
Anticipate and mitigate operational risks while strengthening business continuity plans
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control processes for global operations
Champion digital transformation and technology adoption to enhance data-driven decision-making
Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a global or multi-regional role
Strong knowledge of supply chain management, manufacturing and logistics
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25–40%)
Qualifications
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
Experience leading large global or matrixed organizations
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Demonstrated success in cost management and process optimization
Strong organizational, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills
Ability to navigate fast-paced and evolving business environments
