Global Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Cook up and coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and freight partners to ensure proper paperwork, smooth pickup transaction, air/ocean freight booking.
• Determine the right shipping method by air freight, ocean freight, or courier service based on shipping location, weight, dimensions, and urgency of product need.
• Collaborate with global suppliers to solve any issues related to pickup and exportation from supplier countries.
• Identify the type of import and delivery location – fulfillment, (consumption and FTZ warehouses) and ensure appropriate service levels and tracking for all first, middle and final mile delivery operations.
• Communicate transit information to internal stakeholders daily, processing information from carrier reports.
• Maintain oversight of all shipments in transit, addressing any problems that might delay deliveries.
• Participate and help to maintain professional relationships and communication with all logistics and transportation service providers.
• Review and approve all carrier freight invoices, working closely with the Accounts Payable team.
• Prepare, review, and submit FTZ reports to our brokerage for both consumption entries, and export shipment.
• Aid business partners in understanding the risks and consequences of the given situation.
• Care for international shipments in line with U.S. trade laws.
• Complete visual compliance screenings.
• Keep compliance due diligence records including Automated Commercial Environment filings and encryption reporting.
• Work with our brokerage to confirm information necessary for import clearance.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory export information.
• File ITN requests.
• Review and release export holds on customer orders if appropriate, alerting customer service if hold cannot be released.
• Prepare and submit import paperwork to brokerage partners for incoming shipments.

Qualifications

Maintain a clear understanding of team goals and drive towards attainment of established team metrics.

Aid fulfillment and Sales teams with shipment questions and problems as they arise.
