Responsibilities
- Proven experience in leveraged finance within a peer large-scale global firm or a recognized boutique finance practice.
- Demonstrated familiarity with a variety of debt structures, particularly acquisition financing, secured lending, and/or private credit transactions.
- Ability to draft, review, and negotiate primary loan documentation and ancillary certificates, managing all aspects of a closing in a manner consistent with a junior-to-mid-level ranking.
- A pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to transactions; ability to understand the underlying business drivers for both lenders and borrowers.
- A fast learner who is comfortable pivoting between different types of finance (e.g., transitioning from fund finance to a restructuring mandate).
- Comfort working across borders and time zones; a "team player" mentality is essential for collaborating with our international offices.
Requirements
Academic Credentials: J.D. or LL.M. from a top-tier law school and admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
Qualifications
Full-time, permanent role based in our New York office.
Skills
Legal expertise in leveraged finance, familiarity with various debt structures, ability to draft and review loan documentation, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to transactions, adaptability, cultural competency, and academic credentials.

Pay
$225,000 - $420,000 per annum.
